Visit us at ERPUG

Dynatest will attend the European Road Profile Users' Group.

Join us when we are visiting the ninth European Road Profile Users’ Group (ERPUG) in Edinburgh, Scotland. The conference will take place from the 12th to the 14th of October at the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel. ERPUG is a forum for everyone with an interest in collecting and using road data.
We are delighted to tell you that as Silver Sponsor Dynatest will make a presentation about Dynatest’s research on the usage of AI for road inspection and mobile mapping.

Visit our booth for a talk about the Road Surface Profilers which are designed to provide advanced, automated, high-quality pavement data.

We look forward to welcoming you to the ERPUG conference at our booth.

Let us tell you about the unique features of the Dynatest Road Surface Profilers

A Road surface Profiler (RSP) measures road surface characteristics and computes various indices in real-time. The RSP has a unique “stop and go” functionality enabling the equipment to operate in an efficient manner in urban areas, at traffic lights, at stop signs, junctions, and roundabouts, making it an ideal tool for data collection on both urban and rural networks. This function makes it possible to drive under normal circumstances and still avoid a lot of work to cut and connect the measuring data afterward. The RSP is the most accurate, dependable, and long-term calibration stability of any profilers on the market. Dynatest manufactures two RSP models, the Mark lll and the Mark lV.

The RSP Mk III is designed to provide advanced, automated, high-quality pavement roughness and transverse profile measurements. It is a fully upgradeable system offering up to 21 lasers which makes it ideal for airports and highways.

The RSP-IV is the portable version easily attached to any vehicle with the capability to attach 1 or 2 lasers. The RSP-IV is extremely versatile, easily mountable on almost any vehicle, for testing cycle paths determining the Cycle Profile Index (CPI) on highways IRI and RN, and airports to determine the BBI.

Come and hear about our Multi Functional Vehicle great options

The Dynatest MFV consists of a number of subsystems added on top of a basic system. The term basic system is defined by Dynatest to include: a suitable vehicle, a ruggedized computer mounted in a rack, and measurement equipment which could be: a Road Surface Profiler (RSP) system equipped with 1 to 21 lasers, a Distance Measuring Instrument (DMI), up to 8 cameras, a GPS system, or a Laser Crack Measuring System (LCMS).
Each Dynatest MFV is outfitted with the appropriate combination of these technologies based on the end user’s pavement data collection goals and objectives.
