Bike Lane Pavement Tester

Introducing our latest innovation - the Bike Lane Pavement Tester. Ensure the safety and comfort of cyclist with our advanced tool designed to assess pavement conditions specifically for bike lanes. The BLPT delivers precise, reliable measurements, helping you detect surface issues such as cracks, roughness, and unevenness before they escalate into bigger problems.

Bike Lane Pavement Tester

Innovative Pavement Testing for Bike Lanes

Our latest innovation is designed to measure pavement conditions on bike lanes, delivering the same high-quality data and software performance you’ve come to expect from Dynatest equipment.

The Dynatest bike accurately calculates key pavement metrics such as the International Roughness Index (IRI), Ride Number (RN), and Evenness Coefficient (EC0.5 and EC2.5). It also offers optional features like macro texture measurement, GPS data, and digital photo logging for a comprehensive analysis.

The unique “Stop & Go” function makes it perfect for urban areas, allowing seamless measurement even at junctions, traffic lights, and roundabouts.

Software

Our software makes it easy to test bike lane pavement.Dynatest Data Collection (DDC)
The DDC facilitates the collection of the pavement data from the bike lanes and transfers it to our data analysis program. Allows for real-time visualization of data and easy post-processing.

Reports can be customized and data exported in various formats.

  • Real-time profile data calculation.
  • Optional Texture Laser can be used to collect real-time mean profile depth (MPD) macro texture.
  • Optional GPS and digital photo logging can be stored with profiler measurement data.
  • 5G accelerometers that provide a very high precision of 0.01G.
  • Ethernet communication between portable profiler electronics and the data storage tablet PC on the handle of the bike.
  • Speedometer Shows your driving speed.
  • DMI – Displays Distance Measurement readings.

Training in hardware and software

As part of the delivery process, Dynatest can provide comprehensive training for the Bike Lane Pavement Tester applicable for both software and hardware.

During the training, participants will receive a thorough examination of the Bike Lane Pavement Tester’s operation, function, and applications.

Operators will also receive advice regarding routine maintenance.

The training also includes the operation of optional equipment e.g. how to use the cargo bike, use of DMI and GPS etc. Training regarding the collection and handling of pavement data is normally performed in the field to give operators hands-on experience during training some of the training can also be performed on-line.

Invest in training sessions, and get the skills needed for a safe and optimal pavement bike lane assessment.
